Little documentation.
The WNM-1 is an instrument focused on making modulated sounds, it can make sweet sounds too but has been made thinking about producing twisted effects.
The instrunent consist of 3 independant modules.
Each module consist of six oscillators, oscillators are connected so they modulates other oscillators, the signal flow goes left to right, where the last oscillator (number 6) is the only one that actually produces sound, oscillators 1 to 5 are there to modulation, oscillators 1 to 4 can route their outputs to modulate different oscillators using the route buttons on the top of each osc.
Since signal flow goes left to right, osc 5 cannot be routed, it only modulates osc 6, thats why it doesnt have any routing buttons.
Oscillators cannot be routed to a previous oscillators (eg, 4 to 3) to avoid feedback, only left to right remember that.
There is another set of buttons over each osc, these are Sync buttons, they sync one osc with another, they doesnt do big thing but you can use them to slighty modify the sound.
Oscillators have 7 waveforms.
Sine
Sawtooth
Ramp (inverse of sawtooth)
Triangle
Pulse
White noise
Pink noise
Each oscillator have three knobs:
Frequency: Affects the pitch of the sound when raised to an audible freq or can be used as an LFO.
Pulse Width: Only applicable to pulse waveform, with 0 value you get a square waveform.
Modulation Depth: The amount of modulation going to the receptor osc.
About the multiple outs:
WNM-1 has three outs, that allows you to mix the modules separately to further refine the sound with your favorite effects.
To choose between outs there is a button stack placed near the last osc.
Managing of panning is simple, theres a panning box on the middle of the synth, keep an eye to the output you choosed for a specific module and adjust the corresponding number on the panning box.
You cannot play modules separately, only mix them separately.
Other controls:
Each module contains an ADSR envelope generator and main volume slider.
Finally there are three more controls at the bottom of WNM-1, these are the Portamento time, Mono mode and Retrigger mode.
